Felan supports Jira Cloud through OAuth and Jira Server or Data Center through a team-managed credential. A configured Jira integration lets Felan research issues and, when you explicitly ask, create issues, update them, or add comments.

Jira Cloud setup

1

Open Integrations

Select the Felan team that should use Jira, then open Integrations from the main navigation.
2

Connect Jira Cloud

Find Jira Cloud, click Connect, select the Atlassian site, and complete the OAuth authorization flow.

Jira Server or Data Center setup

1

Open the Jira Server configuration

On the same Integrations screen, find Jira Server and click Configure.
2

Enter credentials

Enter the Jira base URL, username, and either a personal access token or password. Enable Private Connectivity when Felan should reach the instance through your network connector.
3

Save optional webhook details

Save the connection. The configuration displays a team-scoped webhook URL and secret if Jira should send events to Felan automations.

Supported behavior

  • Search and read Jira issues
  • Create issues, update issues, and add comments when requested
  • Use supported Jira change events as team automation triggers

Troubleshooting

Cloud authorization fails — Reconnect Jira Cloud from Integrations and select the intended Atlassian site. A private Jira instance is unreachable — Confirm the base URL and the team’s Private Connectivity configuration. Felan cannot change an issue — Confirm that the connected user or server credential has permission in the target Jira project.
