Felan can work with authorized repositories throughout an engineering task. It handles focused repository work directly and delegates broader implementation, architecture, review, or QA work to specialized agents.

Common requests

  • Locate and explain an implementation
  • Investigate a defect and propose a root-cause fix
  • Compare architecture options and document trade-offs
  • Implement an approved issue with targeted tests
  • Review a pull request through completeness, simplicity, security, test, docs, or rollout lenses
  • Update code-adjacent documentation
  • Run repository checks and summarize failures

Example session

Work with repository context

Felan discovers the connected repository’s structure, package manager, conventions, and project instructions before changing files. Specialized agents share the root session workspace, while the main agent coordinates their results and the final handoff. Use follow-up messages in the same session for review iterations or corrections that depend on the existing workspace. Start a new session for independent work.
Include the issue or acceptance criteria, target repository, constraints, expected verification, and publication boundary in the initial request.
