The Asana integration gives Felan access to the workspace and projects authorized by the connected user. Felan can search tasks and, when you explicitly ask, create or update tasks and add comments.

Setup

1

Open Integrations

Select the Felan team that should use Asana, then open Integrations from the main navigation.
2

Connect Asana

Find Asana, click Connect, and complete the OAuth authorization flow.
3

Select projects

Felan discovers projects in the first available Asana workspace. Select one or more projects when prompted and save the selection. Felan registers webhooks for the selected projects.
The connection and selected projects are shared by the selected Felan team.

Supported behavior

  • Search and read tasks in the authorized workspace
  • Create and update tasks when requested
  • Add comments to tasks
  • Receive task-change events from selected projects for team automations

Troubleshooting

No projects appear — Confirm that the connected Asana user can access projects in the workspace. Felan cannot change a task — Reconnect Asana from Integrations with a user who has the required project permissions.
