The Microsoft Teams integration lets Felan receive channel messages and post responses in Teams. A channel is linked to the selected Felan team with a short-lived authorization code.

Setup

Open Integrations

Select the Felan team that should use Microsoft Teams, then open Integrations from the main navigation.

Open the Teams configuration

Find Microsoft Teams and click Configure. Download felan-teams-app.zip from the dialog.

Install the app package

In Microsoft Teams, open Apps → Manage your apps → Upload an app → Upload a custom app, select the downloaded package, and add Felan to the intended team or channel. A Teams administrator may need to enable or perform custom app uploads.

Link the channel

Copy the generated FELAN_CONNECT_... code from Felan and send it to @Felan in the Teams channel. The code identifies the selected Felan team and expires after 30 minutes.

Supported behavior

  • Receive messages from the linked Teams channel
  • Preserve channel and reply context for Felan sessions
  • Post messages and replies to Teams
  • Show the connected Teams team and channel in the integration status

Compatibility identifier

The current Teams connection code prefix is FELAN_CONNECT_. The integration provider ID is teams.

Troubleshooting

Custom app upload is unavailable — Ask a Teams administrator to enable custom app uploads or install the package. The connection code expired — Reopen the Microsoft Teams configuration in Integrations and generate a new code. The channel is linked to the wrong Felan team — Disconnect Microsoft Teams from that team’s Integrations screen, select the intended team, and repeat the link flow.
