The GitLab integration gives Felan access to repositories available to the authorized GitLab user. Felan can research repository content and GitLab issues, and supported GitLab events can start team automations.

Setup

Open Integrations

Select the Felan team that should use GitLab, then open Integrations from the main navigation.

Connect GitLab

Find GitLab, click Connect, and complete the OAuth authorization flow.

Select a GitLab project

Felan discovers projects available to the connected user. If more than one is available, select the project to store with the team connection.

Configure automations

Open Automations to create event triggers for supported GitLab events.

Supported behavior

  • Enumerate and clone repositories visible to the connected user
  • Read repository content, merge requests, issues, and commits
  • Work on branches and merge requests when requested
  • Discover repository-hosted SKILL.md files under .agents/skills/
  • Receive push and merge request events for team automations

Troubleshooting

No projects appear — Confirm that the connected GitLab user is a member of at least one project. The wrong project is selected — Reconnect GitLab from Integrations and choose the intended project when prompted. An event does not start a session — Confirm that an active team automation matches the GitLab event type and filters.
